- 5-Layer Progressive Construction: This design strategically separates spin performance, with low spin for long clubs (drivers and long irons) and high spin for short clubs (wedges). This helps maximize distance off the tee while providing precise control around the greens.
- Speed Wrapped Core: The core is engineered to deliver a fast, responsive design with a slightly softer sound and feel. For the 2024 model, this resulted in a ball that is up to a half-club longer compared to the 2021 TP5x.
- Tour Flight Dimple Pattern: This 322-dimple pattern is designed to improve aerodynamics, keeping the ball in the air longer for increased carry distance and a steep angle of descent for stopping power.
- Enriched Yellow Urethane Cover: Unlike some yellow balls that are only painted, TaylorMade added a yellow urethane layer underneath the paint. This improves durability and color retention, so the ball stays brighter longer and scuff marks are less visible.
