- Reformulated 2.0 ZG process core: The solid core is formulated to be faster, while the outermost portions have increased in stiffness. This design helps generate higher ball speeds and lower spin on longer shots, leading to more distance.
- Speed-enhancing casing layer: Between the core and cover, a thicker casing layer helps further increase ball speed and lower long-game spin.
- Thinner cast urethane elastomer cover: The proprietary thermoset urethane cover is 17% thinner than the 2019 version, which helps increase ball speed. It also provides the "Drop-and-Stop" greenside control and soft feel that golfers expect from the Pro V1.
- Spherically-tiled 352 tetrahedral dimple design: The aerodynamic dimple pattern is specifically designed to produce a penetrating and consistent ball flight.
- Enhanced Alignment model: Some 2020 Pro V1 balls were available with an extended side stamp to aid in putting alignment.
